Adding an Attachment to an Activity

You can add different types of attachments to your activity, such as files, assets, documents, or links.

  1. From the sidebar navigation, go to > Planner > Calendar or > Budget, and navigate to the activity you want to update.

  2. Double-click on the activity to open its detailed view.

  3. Go to the Attachments tab.

  4. Click Add.

  5. The Add Attachment dialog box opens.

  6. Choose your attachment method:

    • Upload a File

      1. Ensure Attachment is selected in the Attachment type dropdown.

      2. Select the file: Drag-and-drop onto the upload area or click to browse your file system.

      3. Optionally, add a Comment.

      4. Click Save.

    • Attach an Asset

      1. Ensure Attachment is selected in the Attachment type dropdown.

      2. Click Select asset.

      3. Search for the asset. For detailed search instructions, refer to the Media Pool module user manual.

      4. Select assets by clicking the plus icon. To select multiple assets, choose each desired asset.

      5. Click Apply.

    • Attach a Document

      1. Ensure Attachment is selected in the Attachment type dropdown.

      2. Click Select document.

      3. Search for the Document. See the Brand Templates module help for detailed search instructions.

      4. Hover over a document thumbnail to select it.

      5. Click the checkbox icon on the bottom right of the thumbnail. Select multiple documents as needed.

      6. Click Use selected documents.

    • Add a Link

      1. In the Attachment type list, select Link.

      2. Enter a Name for the link.

      3. In the URL field, enter a URL in the format http(s)://www.example.com.

      4. Choose the Target window for the link: same or new browser window.

      5. Click Save.

Your attachment has been successfully added to the activity.
